‘’A thousand tapes’’ project consists of a series of film
screenings based on a collection of a hundred of VHS copies of Egyptian films. These encounters
will be
accompanied by talks, lectures, and panels involving directors, producers, film critics, designers, political theorists, psychoanalysts and musicians.
The program, will be held at The Mansion (Zokak el Blat) and will take place over a period of 1 to 2 years starting December 2012.

Screenings will occur on the average of twice a month randomly.
